Smile How To Improve Your Written Expression

Assalam-u-Alaikum Dear Aspirants!
This very post of mine is in response to a constant query from aspirants regarding the improvement of their written expression.
They believe or are rather made to believe that for competitive exams such as, PCS, PMS, or CSS, you need to have a diction attired in verbosity, idiomatic expressions, proverbial approach, and the use of far-fetched words.
Well, this is not quite the case.
Competitive exams are basically the test of your knowledge, the analytic approach based on it, and the medium of expression. The examiner merely wants to know how much knowledgeable you are and how candid your expression is.
Your written expression should be neither be too childish/immature nor so perplexing that it irritates the examiner.
You just need to convey your message in a diction that is easily understandable and does not irk the examiner.

#Piece_of_Advice
On daily basis, for merely one or two hours, select paragraphs from the newspaper(s) randomly.
Read a paragraph twice or thrice and try to grasp as much as possible.
For instance, write down its summary very precisely in your own words and of course borrowing few words from the original source.

#What_it_Brings_to_you

1. Your written expression will immensely improve.
Your expression will be polished since you will surely be learning few new words and coming across well-organized sentence structure used in the paragraph.

2. As you write down the crux of whatever you have been able to grasp, you will be able to write precisely and up to the point in exams. Remember that precision does play a very vital role in your written expression.

3. Your memory will be sharpened since the piece of writing first goes through your eyes, stored in your in mind via pictorial memory and then further cemented when you write it down.

Thank you your arduous effort .Let I share what i am experiencing now a days. Currently, I m working on improving my written expiration and writing skills ,and what i have identified is that there are following key ingredient of academic writing.

1.garammmar
2. expression
3. vocabulary
4.ideas generation
5.presentation

One have to work each of it separately but simultaneously by adapting a viable strategy. For instance ,how to improve written expression? quer
mostly answered to read news paper and books written by eminent writer,it is absolutely right aforementioned sources work immensely on this ground but gradually.
one must make deliberate efforts to achieve the very object ,written expiration. the very strategy is working for me is to take editorial from news papers and extract some attractive expression (e.g flagrant violation of law, freedom of expression is hall mark for nation's democratic credentials , knit socio-economic development of country ,more stringent rule etc).
After that, I try to revise these expression time after time and write a paragraph by utilizing them on common topics.
In that way ,you realize your everyday lexicon enrich or embellish enormously.

The writing expression can only be improved by writing on daily basis on any topic that interests you then get it checked from any of your friends who you feel is good at English Grammar. After that, write again on the same topic but this time you should avoid repeating same mistakes you did in your first draft. This practice of writing should not be for oneday or two but until you have reached your destination. With the passage of time, you will feel that your expression has improved dramatically and obviously you will have proud on hard work you did, energy you put into it.New writers always have peculiar fright that their abilities will be judged on their writing but this fear lacks solid footings.Everyone makes mistakes in the beginning. No one was born with such an eloquence style of writing;all have achieved with the practice and their efforts. So start writing and keep writing.
