Default What I have learnt from CSS Praparation so far.

First of all, this is purely my personal opinion from my experience. Neither I have passed css exams, nor I over-confidently claim that I will pass it with surety. I firmly believe that strategy for getting through this exam varies substantially from individual to individual -- no single formula. However, I have come to the conviction that this all the game of 'Knowledge' and its handling.

- Understanding the Knowledge.
- Organizing the Knowledge (Organisational approach varies from person to person: notes-making etc.)
- Retaining the Knowledge ( In a way that on D-Day, you will be able to re-produce it.
- Presenting the Knowledge -- With coherency, relevancy, and comprehensiveness, grammatically-error freed and simple language.

But what constitutes the term 'Knowledge'?

Knowledge is a 'limited circle' of information about particular subject, smartly identified by thoroughly analyzing the contents of the subject and its past papers. It is also made sure through past papers that knowledge of a particular topic must cover all the dimensions asked in the past papers of that topic. This is important to understand that focusing on acquiring related knowledge is key element in getting through. There is sea of information available in the library and every tom and dick is consulting the same source.

So what makes you among 1%, different from the rest of 99% is your ability to consolidate quality and relevant knowledge and subsequently to have mastered the skills to present it with coherency and comprehensiveness.

It is also to mention that above discuss strategy is not applicable in the Essay and Composition paper, the strategy is like a scientific law in which above is the variable parameters while practice to essay and composition remains constant.

While chasing after all aforementioned skills during css preparation over the period of months, there are few personality traits which are indispensable to have embedded in your personality.

These are:
1) Willpower: You must have capacity and ability to understand the short- and long-term benefits of a particular activity. For example, you are engaged in particular topic of CSS, you suddenly are tempted to something which gives you joy and pleasure, leading to waste of hours, thus spoiling the whole day. So must have willpower to let go of short-term benefits over long-term benefits.

2) Habit of Working hard: It is important to know that it is your day-to-day success which in integration results in grand success. This is a universal principle. So you must have habit -- if not, please develop -- to sit for hours to study. Remember that this is a habit and habits take time to develop. Your personality and character should must hold it.

3) Faith: When you do a particular job in an organization, you have a faith that you will get an amount in the end of the month and promotion after few years. Having this faith helps you keep on doing the job. So faith matters a lot. IN css preparation, you must have faith that the journey you have embarked upon will yield your positive results. Work hard and have faith upon your abilities.

4) A good manager of time: The one who gets success is the one who controls his time, the one doesn't is being controlled by circumstances and events. If you have a plan for a whole day at the start of morning, you will be controlling your events to happen. On the other hand, If you don't have a plan, your friends activities like going for something fun or watching random videos on you-tube -- the events will be controlling you, thus limiting your effectiveness.

These are important personality traits you must master upon in order to sail through this journey. CSS is not a mere book-reading game. This journey demands a personality of particular traits.

Well said. As for i look back at my css and pms-kp five exams that i took in which i qualified one css and two pms exams but allocated in none, unfortunately. Written exams and interviews are all about not being afraid of any risk and challenge. For allocation, exceptional score and command over subject are vital. Refined expressions do play an important role in getting the message across.
