Question How to get motivation ?

I am preparing for CSS 2018 . I have just started preparation for it from February first but now from 3 to 4 days I am frustrated from my studies. I even do not want to read newspaper . How to get motivation. Seniors guide me what to do ? I have dreams to do CSS in my first attempt but such type of problems are derailing me from track. Regard: Your well wisher junior member........

1. Don't tell anyone about your CSS preparation except your family.
2. Think about the main reason for which you are taking the exam.
3. Don't overload yourself.
4. If you can study 8 to 10 hours with concentration, it is better than studying for 14 or 15 hours.
5. Keep away those people, who tell you about failures in CSS.

two points from thealiarain that I would like to reemphasize is the first and the 5th point. Many people underestimate the influence of interpersonal relations on motivation vis-a-vis CSS. While preparing for CSS, especially in the last two months, avoid contact with anyone. During preparation some really sudden mood swings happen, at-least to me, where you feel like CSS is an impossible goal . In that time, its important that you don't come in contact with someone who will reaffirm your fears or else your CSS project is doomed.

Same here. I go through the day with swinging emotions and it's really hard to feel motivated for a longer period of time. I don't even know when I wake up tomorrow how i will be feeling. That is a huge issue for me at the moment.

One thing that I remember reading about motivation is this. You should try to visualize a future that you want to achieve. For instance, I often imagine myself being posted to Germany and being a very important contact between the two countries promoting ours and their culture and good habits(I speak German and have lived there). No matter how ridiculous such a dream is, the thing is it gives me that adrenaline rush which I utilize for my motivation. You just need that kick. It doesn't matter where it comes from. You have to find something that makes you work harder.

Coffee also works for me. When I drink it, I feel CSS is so easy(it probably hits the right nerve ). It works for me so i use it.

It happens during preparation because it is a lengthy process. For example, my mood-swing continued for last two weeks. I felt depressed and hopeless as did not know anything about future. But, I imagine myself visiting each and every country in the world after joining FSP.
First of all, you have to find out the very cause of your "upset". It might be due to exams. Do not take the pressure of exams and feel comfortable.
