And how many days/months have you prepared for css exams. +if i'm not being too personal then plz let us know about your home city/town , your hobbies and wht was ur expectation before the written of 2006 for passing etc.

Hobbies: Reading, Surfing, Blogging.

Professional Experience before joining Civil Service:I was rendering my services as R&D Officer at Helping Hands, NGO.

Expectation before passing: I had this in my mind that if I qualify the written I would be able to secure either of my top four preferences.His blessings endowed me with my first choice. Alhamdulillah.

Time taken for css prep: It was a gradual process.

they can b useful but hardly.
always look beyond 650 atleast if u r appearing from punjab & to an extant for nwfp.
if elsewhere 600 & nothing else.

it is hard to get high marks in compulsory
roughly if u get 650 means 300 in compulsory & 350 in optional.
but always remember that the topper has 2 go beyond 60 in almost every subject just ask fida if u r not sure
