Length of Answers

Hi Everyone!

Can any qualified candidate tell me about how long answers should be. What those examiners like, beating about the bush and writing 5 to 6 pages OR a quality answer of 2.5 to 3 pages will be considered worthy??????????

dear bro different thought is always appreciated but size does matter

there is no criteria in css. you might write a good precise answer and fail or a long incoherent answer and still pass.

No specific criteria.......some examiners like long ones but few like to the point...it depends on the examiner

I think you should write point to the point and do not add extra materials( which are not concerning the question) for the sake of length. But length do matter. What I think personally is that 4 or 5 pages will be enough for 10 marks question. You should watch marks of the question and then decide how long you should write. So,both are important Quality and Quantity.

I hope I solved your problem. :D :D :D

How to answer ?

In CSS each subjective question is of 20 marks mostly, i said mostly because of few exception like islamiat. So, material should be sufficent enough.

What matter most in answering question is how u start and conclude it.Secondly, u should be able to answer all the required stuff which examiner try to ask from the examinee.

Now if the space between the lines are normal then in my opinion 3-4 pages of quality stuff can do the trick for you.

@aqib
well i m not a qualified one but to share my thought i may say:

1. quantity is not a mattr here, all matter is quality.

2. to justify 20 marks question, we have to answer atleast to b elligible to get those 20 marks...

3. good start which must attract the reader..

4. words ample of vocabulary will b needed for this puorpose..

if any mistake, i appologise..
May Allah bless we all..
Strive....Strive....Strive...

the length of the answer matters little than quality of the answer.
but the length of the ans. must be long enough to compel the examiner give max. marks...e.g u cannot write just 2 pages for a 20 marks question. it would be inappropriate and will not appeal the examiner.
the examiners of css papers are selected ones, talented and i m sure they prefer quality instead of quantity.....

best of luck for all of u..

While answering a question, a candidate should keep following things in mind:

1. The answer should be holistic.
2. relevant events, dates and personalities should find a place.
3. Pertinent material.

When such things are taken care of the length of answer assume less importance.
