How to Be an Effective Learner
How to Be an Effective Learner
Learning is something that can be done better and faster by an effective learner. Becoming a more effective learner is partially a matter of discipline and partially a matter of attitude. A good attitude toward learning sets anyone up to become a more effective learner. Step 1 Approach learning with a high level of curiosity. No matter what the subject is, be curious about it. That will inspire you to learn more about it and to remember the things you do learn. If you have trouble stirring up your curiosity, start with asking questions until you become curious about the answers. Step 2 Take notes on what you learn. Arrive with a notebook and don't be afraid to take notes even if you are the only one doing so. Step 3 Find as many resources as you can. To truly learn about a subject, it's necessary to find many sources. This may include interviewing people, reading books and researching online. Step 4 Discuss what you've learned. Discussing or debating a subject with another person can give you a completely new perspective about any subject. If you can't find anyone to talk to in person about the subject, look for an online forum or chat room devoted to your subject. Step 5 Go over your notes regularly. This will help to reinforce the information and ensure that it isn't forgotten as new information is learned. Write summaries of your notes if time permits. A summary distills the information into its most important components. Going over the notes and writing summaries will eventually become a habit. Step 6 Keep an open mind. Part of learning effectively is understanding that you don't know everything. Consider new ideas, even ones that are contrary to your own opinions. Regards |

In addition i must say that always learn at desk
Learning attitude is so important. If you learn on bed, you will sleep whenever you can know. Additionally, if you prolong that attitude, you will create your lazy habit. and If it is a literature lecture, you should learn immediately after lesson. If it is a task which you must learn by heart, the best way is learning in the early morning or before going to class. Avoid learning deep into the night; it will lead to reduce your productivity and ability to acquire more knowledge. Moreover, if you sleep so late, it certainly affects health directly, so on, you can work well on next day.
