I would like to bring to everyone's attention that the CSS psychologists are quite well versed when it comes to figuring out whats going on in the discussion. I would urge caution to those who intend to hook up - Roll no.s wise.

From my impression and knowledge, I think that everyone should go into the Psychological process with an open mind.

There is no such thing as preparation for the Psychological Exam in any service.

Just be yourself.

Well I have not gone through the CSS psychological process but I have gone through the Armed Forces ISSB process. I can tell you with certainty that the ISSB's psychological portion is very much like the CSS psychological process.

Before we are asked to fill out the ISSB forms we are told and it is also written on top of the forms that the candidates should not go to any coaching centre for preparation otherwise such coaching will interfere with their actual personality. You can also refer to the FPSC site under the header - CSS - psychological assessment to clear any misunderstanding you might have.

You can also confer with anyone else who has given the ISSB to confirm my view.

But please do prepare for the interview.

Default CSS Psychological test are some what similar to that of ISSB

The psychological tests of ISSB are much like that of taken by FPSC. But there is a difference. in iSSB the caliber of the candidates is very low while for the CSS they need much more mature personality. So all those those candidates who have been through ISSB take this thing in your consideration too.
In general Psychological tests are the test of the Persona and the shadow of one's personality. they wil assess as to what a persons pretends and what he actually is from inside. means what he says and what he believes. they will judge the difference of opinions if there is any in one's personality. And most importantly mantle trends of a person and their suitability for the opted group.
So the simplest way to go through the test is to behave in the most natural way. Do't pretend to be someone that you are actually not. So the formula is BE NORMAL AND NATURAL. and mature. simple is this.

@ azmat ullah

Thats what I said in my post on the previous page.

That one should go to give the psychological with an open mind.

You cant change your personality overnight. It is in fact impossible to do so.

All those in Islamabad who passed written examination of CE-2015 may like to visit School for Public Services at G-9/3, Neelum Road for interview preparation. The Academy is run by three ex-members of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) namely Mr. Kashif Murtaza, Mr. Ovais Qureshi & Mr. Saud Gohar. I prepared from there and secured 194 marks in CE-2012.
