Sir how Many books you studied per subject? Please give me some tips to solve journalism paper? As I'm new to it

DEAR what about

Public administration? what should be strategy for this because this is the most difficult subject for me.
To be honest, I am not in touch with the syllabus etc since I last appeared in the papers. BUT, the overall strategy remains the same. You have to differentiate yourself! Think smartly! Think what everyone else is doing! and then try to do all that PLUS something better to differentiate yourself

e.g. if in Public Administration, everyone is giving run of the mill examples of Pakistan or Singapore, then do your research and quote other best practices, go through reports of various international think tanks and quote them! make some generic models which you can use in most questions!

This is just one idea! the possibilities are endless!

Minimum time spam to prepare for the exam

Aslam o alaikum ,

First of all let me introduce my self .
I'm 21 years old students currently pursuing my bachelors degree in biotechnology in Italy . I'm planning to sit in the Civil services exam after completing my degree .

As I am a life sciences student( I ain't familiar with most of the optional subjects ) I need to put more effort and time to cover most of the subjects . I was wondering if same was the case with any one out here or all of you guys did your bachelors in one of these subjects .

Secondly Its a request for the senior to give an idea about the minimum time period required to prepare the exam properly .

I am willing to take a break after completing my bachelor to concentrate solely on CSS exam preparation .

Lastly what would be the best combination for someone he never had any experience with any other subject apart from life sciences .

Any help will be appreciated

Waleikum Salam Azzurri,

Sounds nice that you are planning to take CSS exams. May Allaah help you. aameen

I don't think there might be anyone who had studied all of the compulsory or optional subject in his previous academic degree(s). Compulsory and Optional subjects are from diverse fields from Physics to Sociology.

I myself is planning to take CSS exams in 2017 Insha'Allaah. I have just completed my PhD from UK but still working on corrections. Planning to go back in September Insha'Allaah and will join any academy, as I really don't have any knowledge about most of the subjects. I have been away from PAK Studies, Current Affairs especially. Its been 7 years here; moreover, its been 5 years that I haven't had any experience of taking any written exams :P
I have completely forgotten how to attempt papers in Pakistan in Pakistani style. But still I am hopeful if it is best for me I will Pass InshaAllaah. I will start preparing after mid September from Zero ;)
How much time does it takes to prepare for CSS? This is probably the most asked question by aspirants and the common answer is anywhere from 8-12 months with 10+ hours of daily study. My experience suggests otherwise

EDS

The most scoring subject which you should ace.

All you need to do is read Everyday Science book of Kashmiri. 1 reading shouldn't take more than 2 days. Revise at least 3-4 times whenever you feel like. Also get solved papers of last 10 years and you are all set to go. No need to do anything else

Also do not rely on academy notes. The underlying notion behind my assumptions, mentioned at the top, was that you can think critically and analyze yourself. Utilize your skills!
How can we cover syllabus in few days ?
Have you any strategy ?
I think deep knowledge is required to attempt General Science, then how can it prepare in few days ?
