Analytical Skills and Practice
This thread has been created to discuss all the questions demanding analytical skills in different CSS Papers. It will surely enhance analytical skills of all the participants.
All candidates willing to appear in 2014 are highly directed to take part in this thread. How to analyze a topic ? Worried? No need to worry any more. Here goes the method and my experience; 1. Write Alphabets of English at the last page of the copy from A to Z. 2. Begin from A. If you are having any appealing heading in your mind that begins with A and meeting with the asked question then jot it down as follow; A- Anarchy, Accountability, Absolute Authority etc B-Bad governance, Besieged culture, Bureaucratic hold etc C- Corruption, Cultural Decadence etc Note: Points vary topic to topic. If you are writing on corruption , democracy , role of media or any other topic then points will be different. Don't forget to add quotes against Q alphabet for each topic or question. There is no bar on writing more points against each alphabet. You can add 3 or 4 points against one alphabet. Remember, in the start it may be time-taking process but if you keep practicing , you will be able to write many points of a single question in 10 minutes. Yes, extensive reading is highly required. For this, news papers should be preferred along with books and magazines. Lets begin with the following Question: C.A 2013 Q2: Discuss the successes and failures of political parties in bringing about a meaningful change in Pakistan?
