Dear seniors and those who're going through CTP, please share the experience, do you know any Civil Servant, who did preparation within 4-5 months and got the CSS exam passed at 1st attempt?

How was your experience of opting accounting and auditing in the last attempt and do you have any idea of the scoring potential of indo-pak history?

I have had prior knowledge of accounting so it was not an issue for me. Having said that I will look at its scoring trend in ce14 and decide whether to opt it in next attempt or not. The reason is that I also have aptitude of geography. So it will be geography vs accounting scoring trend.

I think that there are ,at least, 50 percent of the people passing css every year, who manage to do it in their first attempt .And the time span is mostly 5 to 6 months or may be a year . It totally depends on the skills of respective person.

There are many people who have managed to make it through in first attempt and few who made it with a month prep , yet a few who passed and got allocated with less than one month prep . But passing CSS is more of a luck than capability.
