i wanted to ask what is the best trick to write the paper with. Shud we use ball point or an ink pen as many senior say it is better to write with ink pen as it looks good. Also if we use ink pen can we use ink correctors/blanco as cutting is not allowed in the paper

It is entirely your preference, as long as you write in legible and neat hand writing. My advice to you would be that your paper should be neat and not with much corrections. I personally used fountain pen with blue ink.

I am certainly no authority on this, and I don't wish my words to be taken in that spirit. It really depends from person to person. Some people have attempted and cleared the competitive examination while doing a job, while others couldn't. If you say, you cannot quite the job, and that you really want to go for CSS, then it is important that you squeeze every little moment during the weekdays and on weekends for study. Rest pray to God and all the best!

Salam sir. I have found ur words so inspirational and motivative, unlike other seniors tough wording. Also being a top group CSP i've liked ur humbelness and courtesy..May God bless you. Sir i would like to ask u few queries regarding ur English. 1---sir how was ur English in general before u sat to prepare for CSS...??? (as it is a subject of great importance for CSS) 2---if it wasn't so good, how u prepared for it..?? Unlike essay, ur marks in Eng. 2 are incredible...! It 'll be a matter of great interest for me.. Waiting for ur kind reply....

Dear, thanks for your appreciation. To be honest with you, I never prepared for practiced English Language papers, except for very cursory readings of vocabulary and grammatical rules. However, I would strongly encourage you to practice writing english, starting from a paragraph on daily basis and eventually building it up to a full essay length writings. As for the marks in essay, I committed a blunder, which I duly explained where I wrote down my DMC. :)

Yes, an Engineering Student can and in my opinion should opt for such subjects which have traditionally been opted by candidates and have enabled them to pass the Competitive Exam. I also followed suit. Revising a 4 year Computer Science degree for a mere 100 marks paper is not worth the effort. Plus, I believe that one has to be really good enough in quantitative subjects like Mathematics and Physics etc to score marks in CSS papers. Better go for safer options for whose material is easily available.

Rest, trust me, clearing Competitive Exam is as much a matter of destiny and luck as of hard work. It is what God has pre-destined for you because CE and the job one gets as a result of it is your means of livelihood and not an examination of proving your academic excellence. So pray to God, that whatever happens, happens best for you! Cheers :)

While going through the newspapers, do note down the news items related to bureaucracy, like Transfer policy of All Pakistan Service Officers (DMG/PSP) to Balochistan etc. These would serve as examples when arguing in response to different questions in Public Administration Course.
