Default Is Internet necessary for Css prepration?

Is the Internet required for the preparation of CSS Exam or the recommended books+ DAWn newspaper are enough? Many people belonging to rural areas in Pakistan do not have access to the Internet.

Internet is a source of information which helps u in ur preparation...it keeps u updated...but it does not mean that u cant prepare for CSS without internet........use recommeded books n dawn.....one more thing its better if u read more than one newspaper

In my point of view, internet is helpful and no more than that so we cant not say that internet is necessary for prep. I know many seniors of mine who are qualifiers and they prepared conventionally. All you need to have is proper material and you are set to go!

Very rightly said by Aarwa, internet suplements available information for increasing your knowledge, but it is not necessary to have internet for getting good scores in the papers.

I fully endorse the views epressed by Tabassum Shabbir Awan, Aarwaa, and farhanmemon125 that though the Internet can increase your knowledge but the fact remains that it is not required for qualifying the CSS, as rightly pointed out by farhanmemon125 most of the aspirants in the past cleared CSS while preparing conventionly.

WELL....Bro.
I think your Question is having two aspects.

1st
Internet is a fastest way to collect information. You can have the information far from seven seas, siting in rural areas also. It a better way even than Newspapers, all you have to have a command over it. Newspapers specify the subjects and enable to collect information specifically. So after having a proper command, you wouldn't need any of newspapers, in my opinion, as you can have live coverage of News channels, can subscribe to their News Alert moment by moment also. If you have Mobile signal in your area, and got a GPRS enabled handset, then you can have internet access at very low cost i. e. PK RS. 500/month all day all night.

If you can't afford Internet as you mentioned about your scrub area, I would suggest you to read MORE THAN ONE newspapers, as already prescribed by Aarwaa.

2nd
If you are asking INTERNET as a subject in CSS examination, then I would suggest you learn all the commands, terms, necessary sites of News etc. for your GK subject. Anything can be asked about Every day's science.
For this purpose, you can consult a good internet literature terms dictionary and can also search out the Forum.

Regards
Surmount

Question

well on one hand i'll subscribe to the views of my venerable fellows that internet is a supplement while on the other i'll humbly contend that internet has transformed into a basic nedd for any kind of preparation u r doing. i am fully aware of the fact that our learned seniors have got trough the CSS exams with distinction through conventional means, but my point is that internet is really time saving, efficacious and productive. well if someone just overlooks internet by saying that but for internet CSS exam can be qualified i would humbly ask that 70 years back in subcontinent there was ICS (indian civil service) and the aspirants thereof didnt even had other facilities that we have tomorrow. now if we confine our selves to this argument we would be led astray. the bottom line is the internet is an essential tol for success now a days.
for me its enough to think that i have become the member of this resource full forum just because of internet and i feel just like there r several seniors teaching me how to prepare for the exam.
