@ dark fairy...hey how are you)btw i personally feel tht you should go for muslim law and y im saying that is becz watever optional you appear in ,it has an element of relevance to what is happening on the world stage...with a subject like constitutional law and with so so many events unfolding in pakistan over the course of this year i personally feel tht the paper might be too loaded to handleso muslim law has my vote,but the decision is yourz...hope this helps...best of luck.

Im a bit confused about announcement of results. exams are going to held in march,if im not mistaken then for last year 2007 written examz had surely be conducted in same months then why does result for those examz is announced in feb 2008? does it always take an year to compile result?

@ Mariya

The result of written portion was announced in the month of september. The qualifiers of written portion were appeared for the interview. This is how, The final result of CE-07 took place in february 2008. It is quite clear that FPSC conducts the exam in several steps and recruit by the respect of these observations.

Whts the period of training after succeding CSS exam/interview for diifferent deptts. of CSP like DMG, PSP, I.Tax????

It depends upon the group you`re recruited. After allocation, All CSPs will be moved to CTP. Details are given below :

After accomplishing the CTP, CSPs will join the special training with respect to their distinguish groups.

Hi friends,

I am planning to appear for the CSS exams in 2010. i am 22 and have just taken B.A exams (waiting for result). I have good communication skills and general knowledge. What would you recommend? Wether I should start peparing for the CSS or I should go for some Masters degree first. Please anybody help me i am confused.

Thanks Zia bhai for the prompt response. Kindly suggest me wether i should go for some Masters degree (Although it is not necessary) prior to appear in the Css exam or not?

i am a cadet @ MILITARY COLLEGE JHELUM.. I have some reservations on Army ,,so i don't want to join Army and am willing to appear in css exam..( for us induction in Army is conformed...)

will it be a wise step to prefer civil services on Army???

Is civil bureaucracy ,, more muture system than Army???

Should i do it or not..?..

At present , i am a fsc student , so it will take so long to prove mettle there????


please use ur intellect and give me some suggestion..
