well imad if u calculate it in the short term and comapre it with any of the private sector jobs ( starting salary u get there ), picture isn't all that pleasant, but in the longer run govt. job pays u better than any private job, i read it some where that success in any job rests with the person who holds the job, i guess its not a bad career to opt.

i know of DMG officers, doing jobs wid globally acclaimed NGOs @ govt permission and earning Rs150000+/month. An accounts officer earning as much from professional consultansy.
And this thing is not Pakistan specific but its world over! India a burgeoning economy all due to its booming progress in its private service industry esp the IT one; yet u won't be surprised if u see 35000+ highly educated indian youths vying to join IAS (Indian Administrative Services) every yr, and the free market economies like that of Europe and the US still keep the govt executives in high esteem ranging from their foreign seivce officials to labour ministry executives.

Respected Dear ones,
Your replies to Mr. Dream are not more than political statements. I agree to his query. If a person earns Rs. 11808/- in a month, how can he maintain himself and his family as CSP? The corruption scenario under the umbrella of CSPs is an open secret. Not a single person is statisfied with the services provided by the CSPs in any department. Your answers to Mr Dream, an innocent fellow, are not based on reality and ground factors. If you want to check the capabilities, devotion and sincerity of the CSPs then visit AG's Office, Police Stations, DPOs Offices, Civil Secretariates, DCOs Offices. Your all confusions about the patriotism will go deep into hell.
Remeber that all the CSPs have had the same POLITICAL STATEMENTS before their joining the job. After selection they are not less than BUTCHERS and VULCHERS, who use to eat the country fellows AND this is only due to low salary.
REMEDY: JOIN THE SYSTEM BUT NEVER BECOME THE PART OF THE SYSTEM.

Cool

1 out of 1000 joins CSS of Pakistan for Money. It the TOOR the Grace, which attracts. The Green NUMBER PLATE, The Super Number Plate of Red and Blue colours which makes a difference.

If you need MONEY, then do joine some private bank from 9-5 (or may be 6 or 7, sometimes 9 and even 12 AM ) and get money from 30,000 to 38,000 basic pay (some times more with references).

CSS has two purposes:
  1. Serving the Nation
  2. Making real grace (TOOORR)

Who knows, you are also one of those 'Political Persons who gives STATEMENTS'. Hope you would understand my point

I agree with Sermount 100%. Its basically the "TOUR TAPPA" that attracts ppl toward CSS.

Other wise you can have some private practice to earn handsome money.

This point has already been raised on the forum and i shall again say that if CSS is for money then y a doctor, engineer or a chartered accountant wants to join it after studying for 5-7 years in his/her profession. These profession can give you enough money to lead a levish life but not the "TOUR TAPPA" attached with the civil services specially CSS.

We understand that the system has made some ppl to go for unfair means to earn money but you can't blame the whole lot for this.

My Dear ones
Please look into the matter with a rationalistic approach. See the scenario and ground factors. A young officer, no doubt, is honest, hardworking, patriot and likes TOUR TUPPA but when he faces monetory problems to earn his both ends meet then he starts to exploit his powers. The different types of corruption are as under:
1. Misuse of Govt vehicles with GREEN NUMBER PLATES (and even consider it as their lagitimate right)
2. Use public funds, with out any hesitation, to oblige their seniors and to be in their good books & for their personal needs.
3. Departmental selections are made by them purely on reference basis.
4. Office budget, T.A./ D.A. etc are claimed purely on false statements.

This is only due to low salary. Public wants to see them like the CSPs with TOOR TUPPA and if your pockets are empty then how can a CSP maintain his TOOR TUPPA. Due to this reason the CSPs use different means of corruption.

Asslamulaikum,

No sooner I turned the 3rd page of the News paper, than I could see an

Advertisement of the Jobs/ vacancies. Test and interview both were going

to be conducted the same day. I thought for a while then took my documents

and went straight to the targetted place.

I could see rush of students holding their documents. I could not believe

in my own eyes, when I saw that there was not any kind of test, rather an

interview ( The grade of the same job was 16)..

I waited for my own turn, at last I was called and i went Inside. I could see

5 people were sitting over there.

Wow, What a great Interview, the first Question was " How many Rakaats

are there in Fajr prayer. I was waiting for some shocking questions.

But, Alas! all of the questions were of the same categorie. I was told if i had

any kind of Recommendation, my answer was "No", then i was asked that

How much could i offer, i asked what?

Money, Money, Money..........

I asked him, that was it a job, or herd of sheep that i had to pay for it..

He said, You can go..

I came out of the room having pale face, the students waiting outside at

once held me from my arm and asked about the questions, that were supposed to be asked from them as well.

I replied in a way" How much can u offer and Recommendation".......

At that time I regreted alot and wished " would that i had authority, i would

hier the students on merit.....

So my dear, We have gotten this country " LOVELY LAND OF PAKISTAN

BEAUTIFUL THAN KASHMIR"....... after a long tenure war, so please don't

think that every one appears in this Css exam just for the sake of money...

I must assure that not only mine, but also the students who want to

appear in this exam have the intentions, that they would bring revolution

and would help the civilians......................................... .

If some one has the greed of Money, rarely gets through the same exam..

Make ur notions of helping the poor, and bringing revolution in the shape of

justice, rather than money...............

Pray for me..............

Regards....

Respected Aspirants
Assalam o alaikum
My last threads were purely based on bitter experiences of my life. But only on thing to remember is this " our beloved motherland is the only fort of Islam in the world, and we are here to save, serve and progress it". If you have potential then step forward and keep the flage high upto sky by joining the CSS jobs. God bless the persons with purity of thoughts.
