well there is no fixed no of revisions ,the more you revise the better grip you have on the subjects.i recommend atleast two comprehensive revisions before your exams.
you are right that there is hardly any time for revision during exams so make a short pointer with every question and read the pointer on the day of the paper.
i will be relaxing if you complete your syllabus atleast a month before exams but there are always bits and pieces left dont worry about that,just keep working hard as luck favours prepared minded.best luck for 2009 exams.
