Exclamation Information Required

Dear,
It has came to my knowlegde that the FPCS intends to change age criteria for CSS examination. Moreover, It has submitted such case summary to the President. According to the information which i got the candidates' age criteria is from 19 to 28 years, and there is no age relaxation for the Government Servants.
If anybody knows about it, please get me confirmed.

Thumbs up Should We not Demand For Age Relaxation upto 30 Years

Hello Brothers n Sisters,

Today we see a large number of candidates around us who take one or two chances of this Competitive Exam but can't avail remaining one or two chances due to upper age limit. As the upper age limit till the year 1998 or 1999 was 30 years and it had been narrowed down to 28 years which caused a number of candidates either to miss out the exam or not to effectively plan for it due to short period left after the completion of their masters degrees.

Why most of us miss out this exam partially?

Following may be the reasons,

1- In our country most of the students get their masters degrees in the age
of 23 or 24.

2- After the completion of their masters degrees, they first endeavor to
search for a temporary job to support them financially.

3- Then they start getting information regarding CSS exam. After taking
information, they approximately approach to the age of 25.

4- Most of the candidates get their first chance in this exam in the age of
25+ or 26+. Those who get their first chance in the age of 25+ avail their
remaining two chances if they get these exams consecutively and those
who take their first chance in the age of 26+, unfortunately miss out one
chance .

5- Now a days we see that FPSC declares last year's final result almost one
month prior to the next year's exam. Now the point is that If a candidate
who appeared in last year's exam for the first time in the age of 25+ and
couldn't get allocated, he must have to appear in next year's exam which
is going to be held after one month to save one of its three chances. If he
misses out this exam due to lack of preparedness, he will have to miss out
a chance for this exam as a whole.

6- The point to be noted is that almost there are no chances to miss out any
consecutive exam and it becomes very difficult to manage for the next
exam for those who either fail in thier interview or don't get allocated in
their previous exam.

7- There may be other kind of mishaps with any of us prior to this exam
which may result in to miss out the exam.

8- There may be other reasons which may differ from person to person. The
final comments from my side with regard to age limits are that there
should be flexility of one or two years for the candidates to leave one
exam and prepare for the next for better results. The time period which
is being given to candidates for this exam is not enough in relation to its
difficulty level.

9- In contrast to our previously selected bureaucracy, today we are not
producing humans of high calibre through this exam which is the only result
of short time span for preparation.

10- I can conclude that we should immidiately demand for the age relaxation
in upper age limit to 30 years which will not only save our chances to
appear in the exam but will also produce humans of high calibre for these
challenging posts.

Everyone is requested to please join us for this common cause and also share your comments in this regard.

Default i agree but....

sir.......demand for extension or u can say relaxation of age limit is logical.....but the matter of fact is that our typical education system is only ratta based while all examination systems copying british or international level r concept based....our general master degree student cant cope wd international master degree studnt.....really heartrending spectacle...... .....but u see all seats of css every year r filled with candidiates...mean its now matter of hard wrking n luck.....if u compare the ages of all successful candidiates n find all dese r above 25 or 27,,,dn ur claim wd prove ur hypothesis......

sallam

no doubt bro, plenty of government servents r the member of this forum but being a member is some thnig else and being a poliy maker is some thnig else....dont take it if i am against any age relaxation.infact i need it the most as i have a legitimate chance left ......FPSC is an automonus body and it cannot be made to do certain things...even if they the right things......honestly i really want this age to be relaxed..if any one can contribute any resourceful knowledge regarding it ,please be free to share it
