Yes, they are allowed to live outside the Academy, provided they have applied for outside stay and obtained approval from DG CSA prior to joining the Academy. This applies to unmarried local probationers too.

Normally 6 months ki training hoti hai. And its not tough. All you need is to take it easy. If you do this, nothing would be tough in CSA.

CSS is on merit so far. So Sifarishi culture is a myth until you join it.

I saw in the rules that probationers have to wear white kameez shalwar with waistcoat on fridays. Is this really the case? Do they have prayers inside the academy as well? what about security if they have to go outside?

yes, probationers are required to wear white shalwar kameez with waist coat on fridays. There is a mosque inside CSA so probationers pray there as well.

Security if they go out? during the hours in which they are allowed to leave csa, they do so on their own ..they are not provided any security. Security is only provided inside the walls of CSA

Thanks for answering my questions. What if someone doesn't want to wear the said dress, will there be some sort of disciplinary action or penalty etc? Is there strictness about prayers too?

Violation of dress code leads to issuance of notice and may lead to disciplinary action. There is no compulsion for offering of prayers. It is your personal choice.

Same here. May I ask why my posts were deleted and by which moderator? I think I did not violate any rules. Healthy discussion is good, it should not be suppressed in an undemocratic fashion. Freedom of expression should not be curtailed.

@Kingfalcon

There was no healthy discussion going on. There was your one irrelevant post, followed by three 3 bad posts. All of them deleted.
