the duration of the CTP changes from time to time. in the past first few batches it has been as low as three months. now for the last three years it has been almost nine and a half months. so you can safely bet that your CTP will last more than nine months.
then you will have STP and that will last about the same period i presume. in total i think you will be in your seat three years from now.

Dear Khattak,

Would you please tell me who takes the decision about the length of CTP?

Duration of STP varies from group to group... DMG ppl come in the field at the earliest and PSP latest.

hahaha... ja rahey hain aam khaney! ;-)

actually, at that time we were planning to push the relevant quarters for reducing the length of ctp. but then, we were told that nspp has been upgraded as a degree awarding institution and it won't allow that.

good luck for your stp.

regards,

After the start of CTP, one is in his office after 2 years (PSP). but from exam result till the office, it takes around 2.5 years.
