Default Reappearing while at CSA
Assalam-o-Alaikum all!

I want to reappear in 2010 but there are couple of questions that are bothering me in that regard:-

Do we need any permission for submitting our applications as other government servants do?

Should I choose my home-station (Rawalpindi in my case) or Lahore as the centre for exams?

I would like some advice on these from fellow members.

i m too willling to appear in css 2010
i think v shud not send DPC right now and after the declaration of written result we can get it signed from our parent department
secondly i dont think enough leave would be available to us to travel to another city and sit fro the exam, so better to opt lahore as a center
any other comments r welcome

the Director is strict to the extent that she wont grant you any leave before reappearing. the only days you will be given a leave is when you have a paper. and even for those you will have make over sessions later. kinda stupid, i know. but the woman does not care.
it will be wise to select lahore as your station.
and as far as getting admission is concerned, i dont think you need that. since you have not been inducted into the service yet. you will join service on the first of january, so before that you are not part of government service. however you should check with some other people who took the exam.

i also agree with mahmood. no need of dpc because we join service on 1st january.
