As far as I think, there is no prescribed code for ladies at CSA. However, the rules of the Govt. of Pakistan, which suggest a dress that fulfils the requirements of decency and modesty, must be followed in CSA too. It depends on the lady herself too. Like, some ladies in our batch used to wear track suit for morning PT, while some preferred shalwar kamiz. Some worea veil, some didnt etc etc.
And as regards dress allowance, women are also given the same financial assistance, either in cash or kind. |
for morning pt, it's either track suit given by csa or white shalwar kameez. for classes, it's shalwar kameez. women can not wear jeans or short sleeves etc.

the purpose is to be properly dressed for office in accordance to the accepted norms of our society. Jeans is not a dress that could be worn to the office in any culture of the world. its a casual and not a business attire. so it is not worn by any gender for the purpose of office work.
wear shalwar kameez, any color and atleast look decent, even if you are not one in real life :dd :onesec and take that last comment as a light joke.:joker |
Which world do you live in, Mr. Khattak?
In Europe & North America, event in multi-nationals, people wear jeans, including female.... I am working in a multinational at Paris, and our CEO (who is a female) wear jeans, let alone, the subordinate staff. Yes, on certain special occasions, like during a meeting with a foreign delegation etc, ppl wear dress paint & shirt with a tie. A point to be noted, that bus drivers in Europe are required to wear complete suit, with tie :) |

I second Mr Mahmood's opinion.
Females look good in jeans but it doesn't mean they are allowed to wear it during the training period at CSA, formal dressing is required everywhere in the world, no CEO/MD here in Pakistan wears jeans during formal meetings, even when they visit universities/colleges for lectures/seminars, whether male or female is not the issue, jeans is not counted in formal dressing anywhere in the world. Cheers, no fights pls :D Regards, |

Why not? You are allowed to make your fashion statement by wearing trendy clothes as long as they are not provocative (definition varies). cheers, floydian |
