So that means CTP for the 37th Common will end before Eid.
Does anyone know how much time do they normally require for the next batch to begin? 38th Common is expected to be a relatively bigger batch, do they have the capacity to accommodate it?

Question date of commencement of STP

Can any of the Commoners tell me the date on which 37th CTP is ending, plus the date on which STP (particularly of FSP) is commencing?

on 3rd september, 2010 final exams of last term will take place then eid vacations and then military attachment. On 4th October clearance and finally 5th october ctp will end with passing out ceremony. STP will start off differently of each group. e.g. IRS probabtioners will take charge on 6th October likewise DMG, PAAS & Railways because of the same station. probabioners going to islamabad and karachi for STP will have atleast one week time to report in their conerned acadmeies.

38th CTP batch would be almost of the same size as that of 37th CTP because some 15 odd POs dint join the 37th CTP....there is no fix time for the start of the next batch...before we make any guess; allocations must be made before CSA is notified about the exact number of POs coming in 38th CTP, still the case is in court i guess...had there been no case in the court then normally it takes 3 months for the new batch to join CSA.....

so one can expect that if case is decided soon then the 38th CTP could start some where in the first week of January 2011.

sir,i am astonished to note that some POs or probationers didn't join 37th CTP.
Really it is amazing.CSS provides the best jobs in the market.
Can there be people who are unwilling to become CSPs and prestigious officers?
Any punishment for not attending CTP?

Please answer????

Thank you.

my dear there are all sort of people in this world, 'n ur statement that CSS offers best job in the market may not be all that right ....
There are many example when people didn't join service or resigned immediately after joining and they are having wonderful careers ....
but the situation which u r referring to have more to do with people delaying their CTP, which is a possibility and every year people delay their CTP on various grounds .... Establishment Division ( correct me if i'm wrong ) can do it.

A very daring post indeed. People will get awareness about the colours and blessings of CSS.

I think that those 15 Probationers who haven't joined 37th Common must be from PSP,FSP and DMG.These are the most politicized groups in CSS.We know that Police and DMG are dominated by political families since these groups have become dynasties.i am sure FSP must have been dropped by candidates because it is also dominated by vested groups of Pakistan.May be i am underplaying the magnitude of the crisis.I also hold that those who have rejected the groups must have been unaware of the potential of Audit,I.Tax and CTG. Sir i have also heard about some candidates delaying their CTP.A few days ago i met a railways candidate of 37th Common who lives in my street. He told me that during CTP top position holders were magnanimously helping repeaters with their notes and worthy tips.He said that CSA had become for three months a CSS-training academy.Probationers were given lectures by top position holders and the environment was very helpful and the repeaters prepared in a very short span.
i salute probationers for keeping the spirit of cooperation alive.Sir, i will also follow your footsteps if i get allocated.
Thank you a thousand times.

First of all regrets for the late reply....and now coming to your questions; most of the officers who dint join had their CTP deferred because some wanted to improve in CSS-2010 attempt and they wanted to study full time and some probationers were busy in their masters degrees in different universities either in Pak or abroad. Another factor was some of the qualifiers were PMS qualifiers in KPK; and they thought KPK PMS to be better than Postal service of CSS....it depends on individuals....
