@ Sir aamer khattak

Thank you very much sir for such valuable information regarding CTP.
Sir, as mentioned in your post above that during CTP probationers are posted in uniform as Capt by GHQ;
My query in this regard is that:-
1- Is the Military Code is taught as well before posting by GHQ
2- Is posting is done in Units of Services core of Pak Army
3- Who teaches and train the probationers the "DOs" and "DONTs" of Uniform e.g. even shoe laces are to be handled in a specified manner and list goes on while you're in uniform...
4- Do probationers also have sm visit of prestigious PMA Kakul?

+Is it also mandatory for ex-commissioned officers of Pak Army joining civil service to hv posting of 21 days by GHQ.
Finally how was your experience of those 21 days!

waiting for reply by respected Mr. Khattek, Mr. A.J. or any other CSP who'v gone through CTP and rest!
regards,
yours respectfully & truly,
Noman !

@Noman

Yes, ALL the officers (including ex-army) have to go for the military attachment.

No special lectures or sessions are there regarding the uniform rules etc. When we joined the station, we were given the uniforms and on the very first day the 'helpers' (like maut k farishtay) stood at the door, early in the morning, to wake us up...they 'guided' us abt how to put those DMS (shoes) on etc.
PMA Kakul ka koi visit bhi nahin hota, coz it is not a study tour...rather an attachment with the military.

Experience of every officer varies, mostly by 180 degrees...coz it all depends on one's station. Female officers k liye it is like a study tour; they all go in one group.

My experience (An overview)

I was "lucky" to have my name among those going to Balochistan, when the operation against the Late Nawab Bugti was at its peak. We (a group of 12-14) flew to Quetta, where we were notified of our "final destinations". Again, I was lucky (literally) not to c my name among those leaving for DERA BUGTI . Mujhay KHUZDAR jaana tha.....along with 5 other colleagues. So the very next morning, the 6 of us boarded a private bus....wahan k kissi famous badmaash ki thi....suna tha k that badmaash had warranted the safety of people travelling by his bus service....anyways 5 hours k baad we reached KHUZDAR...raastay mein whenever i peeped out of the window I could find the golden saying written on the walls "Punjabi aur fauji ko bhagaao, Balochistan bachaaao"....tab pata chala k hamaaray liye private bus service hi kyon !
In Khuzdar Cantt, we were divided into 3 groups (each consisting of 2 officers) and each group joined a separate unit for 20 days. Bachelor Quarter mila tha rehnay ko....very very comfortable....bus light + water nahin tha....coz militants had destroyed the power transmission system.....during those 18-20 days, light raat ko sirf 2-3 hours k liye hi hoti thi....so woh haseen din buhat hi "mazay" mein guzray.
However, when we returned back and shared our experience, I found myself lucky coz some of us had been sent to Sui and other dangerous zones....they had to stay in tents rather than rooms....firing aur missiles etc. ka her time unhein darr hota tha....so I was really lucky
