Yes, in Isloo and yes, accommodation at NPA. Thanks.

Very enjoyable indeed...physically demanding yet administratively comfortable and practically a rewarding experience. The academy has a majestic environment. We woke up at 5.15 a.m..did pt drills and one mile run..then breakfast..then form filling, snapshots, introductions, classes, orientation visit, haircuts, uniform measurements and dinner. The academy has every facility that one can think of..messing is excellent and the mess resembles that of corps mess of army...the rooms are fully furnished with ACs..two officers share one room and one orderly/batman...all in all its great to be at NPA.

Regards.
thatz great sir thanks for your reply. all the best

1. whats the latest starting salary of an ASP in all the 5 provinces and ISLAMABAD?? someone speaks out 40 some 50 and someone was also saying on this forum that its 70k in gilgit baltistan.
KPK 46k plus
Punjab around 40-44k
Sindh almost 30k plus
Balochistan 50k plus
Gilgit Baltistan around 70 k
Islamabad 60k plus

2. . what sort of vehicle does an ASP gets??? some say its 3 door land cruiser same say a car .
3 door blue Land Cruiser
white/black Vigo in Balochistan n KPK

Quote:
3. how many personal gunmen does an asp get and are they for 24/7???
Realistically speaking, it depends on the officer, his requirements and area of posting..some prefer just 1, some 2, some 4 and some even more..getting official guards is a petty issue for an ASP..

Quote:
4.. apart from salary how much risk allowance an asp gets??
It varies from province to province.

5. jo gari ASP ko milti ha kia wo office nai khari hti ha??? yani k officer ko drop kr k office chali jati ha ya phr ASP k ghar ma khari hti ha, my neighbour was a DSP and there always stood a neeli batti wali 3 door L.C in his home.,, thatgs why i m asking this.
An ASP can keep his official vehicle (along with driver and protection) with him 24/7

What K means all depends on how you are using the term. It could stand for thousands when it stands next to a number. This is because we abbreviate thousands with K. K can also be the symbol on the New York Stock Exchange which stands for Kellogg's. K can also stand for kilogram if you a measuring..

Here it means thousand 40k= 40000

Both are equal and there is nothing as mentioned by you. Both are of Grade - 17 and may get any of the postings. However, promotion of ASP is rapid and of DSP is slow because of the provincial service. I would like to remove the misunderstanding of the aspirants about the vehicle i.e. any of the officer posting as SDPO or DPO is entitled for vehicle whether that suzuki van, VIGO or pick up.

Secondly, there is misconception among the aspirants about the service. My, Dear any of the service whether its Police Constable or IGP on top has their own weightage and role in the society. PSP is no doubt professional service but rankers of the police department has their vital role working of their department. There are certain cases in which rankers showed great valor and courage. it is very bad to call them Daalaa... please mend your ways.
