yes absolutely you can claim for the same and your husband can sort out this issue very easily thorough armed forces rules and regulations.
to the best of my knowledge there are some rules regarding spouse posting in armed forces of Pakistan.

There is a provision that in the government rules that if the husband is stationed at one station then wife can also be transferred to that station provided there is any vacancy. This holds if both husband and wife are in government service. I dont know whether it holds true if the husband is in the army as its not necessary that the station where an army wala is posted, there is any place in that station where wife can be posted.

Almost all of my batchmates in information group are stationed in islamabad. I dont know about the army rules whether they would station your husband in rawalpindi or not because you are posted in islamabad....

Frankly speaking.... it will be tough.

Rules are just rules. Reality is different. If your husband is posted to main cities, then you can get posted there, with not so ease and you'll have to exert a lot to get tourself posted there. It depends on the availability of vacant posts and the desire of the office to accept you as officer.

If your husband is posted to smaller stations like Kharian or Chorr or Okara, then your posting there will be quite difficult as no post of federal government exists there.

In short, getting first posting of your choice is quite easy but then getting yourself transferred every time your husband gets transferred is nearly impossible.

Following may help you which is taken from FAQs of Establishment Division. I didn't find the Wedlock Policy's Notification. You may get it from Establishment Division.

Wedlock Policy

Question:34 What is wedlock policy?

Ans: The government taking onbte of the socio-economic problems and hardships faced by husbands and wife in government service due to posting at different stations of duty, decided to facilitate posting of husbands and wives at the same station and the posting of unmarried female civil servant at the place of residence of their parent/families.

The facility of posting at the same station is also available to those female government servants whose spouses are not in government service or empl0oyed in the private sector or even unemployed.
If a request involves temporary deputation to another department it is processed n consultation with the concerned department and it may be accepted on the prescribed terms of deputation subject to availability of a post in the same BPS.

Spouse already posted at one station including those posted on deputation beyond the prescribed maximum period, are normally not disturbed without compelling reasons of public interest.

Request for extension of deputation period beyond the permissible limit of 5 years is considered with compassion if interest a public service permits.

Question:35 What is the maximum period of deputation under wedlock policy?

Ans: There is no maximum period of deputation under the wedlock policy. The deputation period is extended on the request of borrowing department provided the lending department has no objection to such extension.
