Thanks for your guidance. Please advise if there is any way out as i want to avail 2013 otherwise i will be wasting my second chance? as this time i am not likely to get any of my first three preferences. i might fall on fourth preference. Seniors please guide.

No , you cannot appear in 2013 CE, if you are completing your 40th CTP

Thank you for your guidance. Is there any way out for appearing in 2013. 2013 and 2014 are my two last chances.

Is there any way out that i might not waste my chance and hold the group i am given this year?

Unfortunately there is no way out and policy is likely to remain the same. At max you can avail 6 leaves and the grant of leave depends on additional director of your academic group in CSA. Therefore, the only option is to defer your CTP and appear in the exam with full preparation. Otherwise complete your CTP first and then appear in 2014 during STP.

I am in the same trouble as that of mhkhan.Appearing not in 2013 attempt as per the policy in CSA,i would waste my 2nd chance without utilizing it.Therefore,the only way out,i see, is to adopt a legal course in this regard and file my case in court against this violation of the basic right of candidates of utilizing three attempts under the prescribed age limit since such a liberty of taking written exams during CTP was permitted till 37th CTP.In my opinion,such bans can be contested in the courts on the pretext of discrimination against the candidates.i wonder what on earth has compelled the CSA administration to snatch this right of candidates!!!!

i look forward to valuable suggestions of seniors whether this endeavour would bear fruit or go futile.

That's barely sufficient for a serious attempt...

Hmm.. I dunno, I might have to defer joining this year. How does one defer joining?

Ofcourse,the court has to decide the matter before the commencement of the exams otherwise the respondant i.e FPSC would not be able to conduct the exams before the court's decision.

How is this ban enforced? If a candidate sends his/her forms in December and then takes a week off to take the exams in March, how is the academy going to find out?

I just spoke to someone in the establishment division and he told me that one can always take 10 days off to appear for the exams.

This ban is sheer injustice and CSA in no case should have the power to ban a candidate from taking his attempt which is right and if this ban continues it must be challenged. How CSA can deprive a CSS aspirant from his right just because of 10 days leave.

What if a person goes to take paper without taking permission from CSA ( In case they do not allow) What might be the consequence?? Seniors please guide
