1. Yes trainees are paid a bit more than 25K or so beside free messing.
2. Not Sure
3. Well it is simple, you ll not find time to marry during the training but may do it afterwards if you have an understanding. There are many CSP couple around.

Yes, all under training officers (in CTP and STP) are paid. However, the amount is not that much. In 2011-12, all the CTP officers were getting around 16-17k salary. The current batches should be getting a meagre increment in the stated amount (Annual increase dictated by federal budget in Basic pay is credited to the salary) .

If you are a non lahori person and are willing to live outside academy premises under the mercy of the insufficient salary, you are more than welcome to do so. Adjoining area of Walton is not that cheap after all. Some years ago, there were some trainees who rented rooms near academy premises. So I presume there is no such strict restriction.

I have no idea but that I am sure they won't stop anyone from marrying as it can essentially be termed as sort of a basic right.

what is the duuration of CTP and STP ?

16-17k is the basic pay , right ? do they get the allowances or just basic pay ?

CTP is around 7-9 months max. Duration and details of STP differs from cadre to cadre but as per my existing knowledge, it also does not exceed 8-9 months period for any position. There were some batches (like 40th CTP) whose CTP was much shorter (40th CTP lasted only for 6 months).

In CTP all trainees are paid the same amount and that does not include allowances etc. I will ask some of my friends from 42nd CTP and inform you about the exact pay.

its basic salary @ CTP and + some allowances @ STP... inn short its not possible to rear a marriage during training unless u have some external financing to support urself..... . better wait till u get thru ur fpoe and fully accommodated in field posting.. good luck
