i think its the official description of information grp...my question is that can a CSP ever get to become a Federal minister....as it is written above....i dun think that a govt servant can ever become a minister of any wing/ministry atleast not through css.(Federal ministers are usually Elected members of National Assembly)......can u clarify me on this point ..Thanks in Anticipation
@ Waqas
Wa'salam Mr. Waqas !
I think you didn't read the above passage carefully; read it again sir. No where, it is written that Info group officers are posted as F.ministers; Instead they can be posted as PRO, Media Manager to Federal Ministers in different ministeries.
+Also, csspk.com is a privately managed website like this forum (cssforum) and in no way the information on these sites are official. By official it is meant that published by Govt of Pakistan (or FPSC) but both of these sites are privately owned and information on these forums in no way be stated as official. However, because many of CSPs and other civil servants interact with us via these online forums so information from these sources are obviously correct.

+I hope you got my point.

Default Dear Moderators STP-FSP

Salamz Dear Moderator of STP sub-forum,
The FSP thread of Sir Shahid Seehar is closed for further posting. Kindly either re-open that one or make another thread "STP of FSP" so that further queries can be posted on the forum by new css aspirants which still have many more questions in mind than which were answered on the present fsp forum which is closed for further posting.

I hope you'll consider my suggestion for good of css aspirants.

Thanking you very much,
best regards,

Yours very truly & respectfully,
Noman !

@ A.J. & CSPs at forum

Sir, in how many groups ex-servicemen of Armed Forces of Pakistan may come on quota reserved for them via GHQ [according to my info 10% quota is for them in PSP, DMG, FSP].
++Is there any drawback of coming through this way with respect to promotion etc. Plus Is it possible that one didn't qualified via CSS exams may still come next year via GHQ quota allocation.
++ Is it mandatory for Officers joining on GHQ quota to also undergo some other process like final Interview (ViVa) conducted by FPSC etc. before joining CSA or they directly join CSA on joining letters issued to them from GHQ.
If you've any information in this regard, kindly share.

regards,
sincerely,

There is no drawback w.r.t. promotion or anything.
As far as the possibility of coming via GHQ quota is concerned....I have no idea!

Yes, they do appear before the Commission for an interview before joining the CSA....interview is mandatory!
