dear, a css aspirant always aims at just one service group. at the moment, you should be thinking about that one only. it's too early to decide the rest.

I my opinion one has only 5% chance ( if you are from Punjab almost only top 40 out of 900+ will be given police/DMG etc.) to get that first choice group. Moreover, I think you'll not be given any further chance to change your preference order.

Official Car and Salary?

Postal and railways CSPs are given official car and residence early. Pays are three times the basic pay in Customs, two time in income tax and police. permanent station job can be enjoyed in Audit and Accounts, CTG, OMG etc.

such fringe benefits should not be the priorities.
just aspire to serve Pakistan, that is undergoing immense scourges nowadays, in any situation and with any compensation.
but for your respected question i think that police group is the best and provides good opportunity to serve the nation.

i really wants to serve the nation and it is my first priority.but obviously,i have to select best six organizations that (InshaAllh) i can become part of in future.
with above suggestions i can draw a conclusion that custom and income tax should be third and fourth options for me.
what about the salary package and facilities in omg, commerce, info and military.which is the best organization of these?
i am from larkana (r.sindh) what should be my ranking to make place in top six organizations.

dear,

your required ranking depends upon the competition in sindh rural and the number of seats. if you manage to score 700 or above in the written part, you'll easily get your first choice. sindh rural is heaven!

Default ambrosial eloquence shares a set ov golden wordz

@ zoom bhutto and others.

aoa.

hope ma post finds everybudy gud n haPPY.

in due context i wud like to share sumfin that realy touched ma heart.

ma mentor used to say: k jo academic degree ap earn krtay hyn wo apki ilm k lie tlb ya justuju ka ajr hoti hy. lekin css aur us k natijay mein milnay wali naukri darasl apka zariya-e-massh ya rizq ka hasul hy. jiska taaiyun kr dia gya hy. u will earn ur livin form the source (group in case of css) which has already been decided for u.

he used to say k kuc log oceans ov knowledege hotay hyn, hr bar clear b kr letay hyn pr allocate nai ho pataye. kuc log pehli hi dfa mein apnay khadshat k br aks allocate ho jatay hyn. ab ap isko luck kahain ya taqdeer. baat aik hi hy.

hope i successfully conveyed the crux ov golden wordz to u in the due context ov css and group preference.

how did u find this. do share ur feed back if u plz.

i wud wind up saying k "do ur best and leave the rest to HIm"

regardz

Default Feedback for you and others

@ Eloquence

Dont know why I have this feeling that somebody told me the exact same theory and I appreciated and agreed to it ... DEJA VU

It definitely is very convincing

I would like to add to what you said in fact wrote

i wud wind up saying k "do ur best and leave the rest to HIm"

He has plans till the time He reveals them ,we have to keep ourselves busy

and I would like to add thie following too
CSS keeps you busy, irrespective of the outcome it inculcates a habit of readign books, staying in touch with global affairs .So its always a win-win situation.Modern day education system and TV has effaced the habit of reading and reflecting from mental makeup of students but CSS atleast brings them to those good old habits

P.S. i believe the difference between what you are today and what you would be say five years from now is largely becasue of "the books you have read and the people you have met"

So CSS brigns both irrespective of the final outcome

kauser zaidi,

well, in sindh, it is believed the competition is higher in rural. but there have been some exceptions. like in css 2007, the sindh urban people outshined sindh rural. the first four or five position holders from sindh were from sindh (urban).

sindh (urban) generally has lesser competition because our urban fellows are disinterested in css for various reasons.
