Cool

i would like to use the word "required" only in FSP i guess. It depends really, if you look at it in one way, you need to have good spoken english/communicational skills in every department.

and if you look at it in some other way, guzara chal sakta hai without good spoken english. But the thing is, a csp SHOULD have the ability to speak fluent english no matter where he is. and as far different levels are concerned, mostly higher levels demands good fluency of english from an officer. Obviously people want their administrators to have good communicational skills and be presentable.

even in PSP you need to speak fluent fluent english beside that special language which you use specially for non listening criminals.

English is must for all groups.A CSP should have command over it.beside smart personality if you speak good english then it look so awsome.really.

Default English is important in our country

I think that English is very important to even pass the CSS exam. As far as my knowledge is concern all groups (DMG, PAAS, IRS, PSP, OMG, CTG, FSP, MLCG, RCTG, IG, PCS, POSTG) good proficiency in English is required. But if I want to mention three of them then it would be:

1. FSP
2.OMG
3. CTG

A person on good position should have command on spoken English. Otherwise guzara hojata he, Jis ne CSS pass kia ho toti poti English tu bol he leta he. BTW English is not very much must in FSP, if a person is posted in Japan, China, France? :-)
