Exclamation Queries about being a married couple in foreign services

Assalamualaikum everyone,
I and my fiancé have been preparing for CSS exams and we have had our eyes on Foreign Services of Pakistan. Both from BBA background but I believe our hard work will prevail. My concern to bother you, my esteemed fellows is this, If we were to get selected Inshallah then what is the probability of us being posted at the same station after marriage?
I understand that it might strike as a dumb question to some since there can be only one ambassador to a country but their are junior ranks and I wanted to know that if we were to join then would we have to spend our early married lives separated from one another? If one could kindly give me a detailed answer it would be very much appreciated as I have been searching but I guess this is a rare case.

Dear Shamshaad,

Hope you guys qualify and land in your desired service group.
In Foreign Service, if you are in the same grade, it becomes increasingly difficult to be posted in the same Mission (Embassy/Consulate). As for the Ministry, its obviously not an issue. Majority of Pakistan's Mission's abroad are 2- man Missions, i.e. and Ambassador and an Officer. the exception is in bigger Missions (Washington, Riyadh, Geneva, New York, Beijing etc.) You may get a chance to get posted together with your spouse. However, it would be a one off stint.
It will be difficult to manage your married life living apart especially as the family grows. It is the same with joining any other service. At any given time either one of you will have to choose between staying together or pursuing his/her career.
In the end, it is a personal choice ofcourse and it is always best to know what you are signing up for.
Regards and best wishes !
