Marks for FSP?

Salam Ppl

I have heard this from a lot of people that only the top candidates get chosen for FSP. Is this true?
Is there a threshold defined for who gets in? If yes what is this threshold? Any particular amount of marks on the CSS exam?

Any info on this wud be appreciated.
Thanx

Marks for FSP

To Asymn

FSP is one of the top groups. In order to get allocated in this group one must cross 700 marks in written examination.

Best of luck.:king

Yes..FSP is one of the top cadres but getting above 700 marks in written is certainly not a criteria...it depends upon a lot of other factors..including general merit, gender, province and preferences of other candidates etc...a frnd of mine got in to FSP in CE 2008 with 670 marks in the written portion...so go figure.. :)

i know a person named Muhammad Jaffer roll no:6513, appeared in 2008 on Sindh Rural quota and he got even less then 650 marks in the written part of the exam and he has been allocated to the FSP group. So it is non-sense to fix a ratio about any thing in such an exam, there can any thing be happen.

Marks in FSP

@ Flavia and Nightmare

I stand with my previous stand that 700 marks are enough to get allocated for FSP. However, this is not the sole criteria.

I do remember that a friend of mine from Sindh-R was allocated in PSP for just 612 marks couple of years ago. Similiarly, another friend of mine from Sindh-U got FSP for just 630 marks last year.

The case of other provinces and especially Punjub is altogether different. In Punjub, candidates securing 700 marks still fall into income tax anu audit.

Therefore, it is my personal observation that 700 marks are sufficient to get FSP. Candidates aspiring for FSP must have this target in mind otherwise..............:nono

Hope u got my point.
