@sanam

By "scholarships are highest in DMG" Red.Hawk means that if you wish, you can seek one of the scholarships which are offered by government of Pakistan for its civil servants usually routed through Economic Affairs Division. Of course, these are optional and you don't necessarily need to apply for them but most people do as they result in more capacity building and enhance your job skills.

To correct Red.Hawk, I might add that scholarships are highest in occupational groups falling under FBR i.e. IRS & Pakistan Customs Service. This is because FBR officers not only are eligible to apply for scholarships through Economic Affairs Division but FBR's HRM and Strategic Policy Wing with the help of foreign donor agencies like IMF and World Bank also offer fully-funded scholarships and courses to FBR officers from time to time.

It is much more beyond mere calculations. You build a career as an officer specializing in international trade. You will posted in places like Ministry of Commerce, Trade Development Authority, and as trade/commercial counsellors in Pakistani embassies abroad. All these departments are based in big cities like Islamabad, Karachi etc.
You have a lot of opportunity to groom yourself. It is a white color job. Opportunities to seek study abroad and an ability to rise to the top policy making level. The reason I suggested you was that being a girl, it will suit you much more than being a Supreintendent of Police. I hope, you get my point.

Thumbs up Thx all

Thank you all for guiding us at this stage.after going through all this discussion and the discussion at home I am finally putting FSP at top.I am sacrificing the love of my life that is police.FSP is equally good so it will be my first preference now.so it is now something like it,

1.FSP
2.DMG
3.PSP

Good luck to all those guyz who have put FSP on top.Me too have jumped into this race today.

And I have a request to guys here...Plz dont threaten us with this thing called '' husband ''.you say that girls should not go in FSP becaz of family problems or future inlaws problems.
Plz to us our career is more important than anything else in the world.we want to be successful,to be independent.

By being here we have shown you our priority.and our priority is career nothing else.

Our families are supportive and plz dont talk about those things which dont exist at this stage.

regards.

Not sure why you would feel "threatened" by "husband" and please mind it, "husband" is not a thing. Those who talked about family commitments wanted to show you the other side of the coin and you had yourself sought the opinions. Therefore, I do not understand using such offensive language on your part. In any case, you have other priorities and you are well within your rights to chose from whatever groups you prefer. Best of luck with your exam.

After becoming a CSP officer, do we have to study further?

regards,
No we dont have to study further apart from from our trainings (CTP,STP,MCMC and staff course etc) but by scholarships i meant that when anyone who is interested in improving his/her qualification he/she applies for scholarship and Economic Affairs division (EAD) approves and facilitate his/her application for final approval....since most of the officials in EAD are from DMG so the DMG people naturally get an edge over others...moreover before finalising one's scholarship an interview is taken in which one has to defend his/her willingness to apply for that particular course for which he/she has applied...since DMG people are involved in gerenal management so there are more chnaces that they are able to satisfy the interviewing authorities....

there is no pressure on me from home.infact they are asking me to put FSP at top.i am in a fix.dont know what to write.
are my preferences ok.
since you are female so should also go in with DMG,FSP,PCG (Customs),...etc Customs is a very good group for females as this is mostly office based and administrative in nature...moreover its technical and with the duration of service a certain amount of market worth is also gained (if you resign, you can get a good job in pvt sector) on air ports and dry ports Customs people enjoy great amount of powers...the only draw back is slow promotion and that is not a big issue for females if you are enjoying powerful postings even at smaller scales

What's your idea about Information group? If OMG officers usually have a tough time in their service, then I'll skip it. What do U say??
well OMG is ok for females....as far as Information Group is concerned, it depends upon person to person...there is no desgnated car and house like in all groups who are posted in Islamabad..Only AC n ASP has designated car...as far as nature of job is concerned one has to deal with all kind of print n electronic media...have to move along the power notch of the country..posted with all federal ministers, PM and president....one has to be really good at communication skills both written and spoken....its very versatile kind of a group...not designed for people who like to enjoy a lot of power...it has foreign postings in grade 17,18 n 19.....

atleast i didnt threaten you behna ...so don't encompass all the guys...

by the way you just proved yourself to be very Girlie.. i mean the emotional and sentimental and all. Try to have a balanced reply, and a balanced outlook will take you a longggggggggggggggggg way in your life. only one line could have been enough "I take my career very serious and at the moment i don't necessarily see any hurdles to it " .....

Best of luck to you and hope to see you FSP someday inshallah (Pray for me too kha!)
