The pay scales have been revised in 2017 and there is a tremendous increase. Now, a BPS-17 officer is paid 76,000 per month and this is the same for all CSS cadres. A BPS-18 officer is paid 95,000.

This may be true for some departments but not all. Most are still getting the same old 45-50k max.
