Default Salary of FSP

Respected CSPs this question is widely avoided by FSPs. Its better if the aspirants can have the information regarding the salary of FSP officers.

What is the current take away salary, both in Pakistan and abroad, of an BS-17 FSP officer.

Current salary in Pakistan is same as other BS-17 officer, i.e. Rs. 38,114/- gross and Rs. 34,945/- take home (if you don't avail hiring of residence, which if taken makes it Rs. 30,579/-)

Have doubts about Foreign postings but I think its somewhere about $ 2200-2300 apart from Apartment. However, an officer posted in Foreign Service can confirm it with accuracy.

Does salary paid to FSP officers during foreign postings also increase annually after each year and after Financial budget with same percentage? or it remains same for the whole duration of posting. Similary what is approximate difference in salaries of 1st Secretary and 2nd Secretary?

@Waqas

While posted abroad, salary in FSP consists of the pay you are withdrawing in Pakistan( it is converted into dollars) plus foreign and entertainment allowances.
In addition, free accommodation, healthcare facilities and children education are provided. Amount varies from station to station. Check the link below for complete details. If the link is not working send me your email address i can email you all the relevant information.

See you at CSA!!

I was going through that link and found that the highest cumulative salary of a 3rd secretary is in Japan i-e around 3000 dollars..Similarly in Europe, the salaries are relatively higher than the other countries...lowest being in middle east..The link is a comprehensive one and it has all the answers regarding salaries of all diplomatic staff in each and every country. Thanks & JazakAllah for the post bro..

@ Sarfraz

Dear i just stumbled onto the link and shared. I did not know it was forbidden
Salary consists of three components:
1.foreign allowance
2.entertainment allowance
3.Pay you are withdrawing in pakistan eg for AD starting pay is approx. Rs.38,000. This amount ll be converted into dollars and added to other two allowances.

In addition, TADA is also given when posted abroad.

@Jamal
You are welcome.Salary in Middle East seems to be low because salary is calculated according to UN consumer index and inflation. From personal experience of my family members I can assure you that 3rd secretary pay is sufficient. You can save easily in every country.

@Babar
Check MOFA website.You can get relevant information about anatomy of designations there.

Has that document been revised? Or has that been the last revision so far?
