Why the salary of csp officers is so low?I mean my uncle is section officer of grade-19 in cabinet division has 65-75000 pay and he is non css where as css officers salary is so? low

Your uncle reached grade 19 in how many years? This salary of his is after years of increments and at least 2 to 3 promotions. You cannot compare the salary of a fresh CSP with a person who has years of service. By the way! section officer is grade 17. How come your uncle is section officer in grade 19?

Depends on the length of service. If a person is appointed fresh in Grade 19, his/her gross starting is 76,100/- approx. In Grade 20 on fresh appointment, if the monetization amount of Official Cars is NOT there, it is around 83,000/-

if your uncle is in grade 19 and his salary is 75000 approx than this because of the reason that usually in OMG u get grade 19 in 8 years and with only 8 years service and increments this salary is good enough...
But as you are saying that your uncle is non CSS than he must have passed SOPE and if now he is in grade 19 than it depends on his previous service including the grade in which he was serving before passing SOPE. it can be anyone btwn 11-16....
so it all depends on no. of years in service.....

So,what do u think the salary of a 18 grade officers who came through CSS?

He is on deputation from ajk thats why he is in 18 otherwise I know that SO is of 17 grade

Section Officer is a designation of BPS-17 and BPS-18. In BPS 19, one is called as Deputy Secretary (in ministries), as Director (in sub-organization/autonomous bodies, Information, POSTAL and in Foreign Service), as Deputy Collector (in Customs) and as Deputy Commissioner (in PAS/DMG/IRS/MLCG)

My father is a CSP, serving as a Joint Secretary (BPS-20) in Ministry of Science and Technology and his salary is around or at least 150k and my mother is earning the same in same designation but in Ministry of Food and Research: however 15,000 Rupees are added in her salary because she gets an additional research allowance. Things are more or less same. One should throw information with due care, ask the people who are willing to tell you the true things otherwise you would judge half things wrong and half right
