Default Eyesight, and FSP for women?

AOA.

I am new here on this forum and I would be grateful and would appreciate all your help.
Firstly, I want to ask that is foreign services good for women? I mean are there any married women currently in Foreign services?
Secondly, does weak eyesight have any affect on selection into foreign services?

One of my senior at QAU was Mr. Arshad Abbasi who was and is blind. He stood 11th in 2012 and now serving in South Asia division of Foreign Office. Here is link of his interview.
