Default NBP MTO Job VS CSP of information Group.
Iam Management trainee Officer in National bank of pakistan and earning 50 plus salary.I also enjoy free medical facility for my family at all hospital of our country.Other fascilities such as car finance,House Building and other benfits like bonus are available in this job. i have been allocated in information Group and would like to have suggestion from seniors specially from CSP of information Group that do i join allocated group or remain happy with job of Bank.

may be my suggestion are not worthwhile but i would suggest you to join civil services !!! the pay and benifits may not be camparable but when its abt honour and dignity CSP is much bttr !!!!

yes the CSP cadre is much much better as far as respect and status is concerned....
2ndly Bankers are monotonous working in same environment from day til end of the day...
Though banks pay lot of salaries and fecilities but they can not equalise the status as bureaucratic personalities enjoy in pakistan.
Though you will not be satisfied in start that your decision was not good or harsh but i would recomment you to join Information Group ...

If you have links with senior officers or politicians, join Info group. Otherwise, stay in NBP and re-appear in CSS.

It was my second & last attempt,no chance left because of age.

what are the career prospects in Information Group.

Default m confused plz guide
i hav also been allocated in information group..........n currently m working in international islamic uni isb as lecturer.i hav got married recently and i am candidate of 2008 .unlukily i was not allocated in 2009 but suddenly i got an offer letter last month to be allocated in IG. now i m confused what to do cz after getting married my priorities hav been changed but still the desire to b CSP is there to join it.plz guide me.thanx
