Need help from senior IG officers

Respected Seniors can you please tell me about the duration of CTP? as someone is saying 8 months, some are saying 10 months while others are saying 12 months....can you please clear this confusion? moreover please mention the salary IG probationers receive during STP in islamabad! i will be highly grateful!

in recent years it has varied from batch to batch. in our batch it was ten months. but i think it was reduced to 6 months in the batches after us. so dont really know about it now.

The duration is about 8-9 months and the salary is the more or less the same as what you'll get in CTP
