They are appointed as AC Ex-PCS and retire as Secretary. AC (IRS) has around 70-80k starting salary, GP number plate car, driver fuel. They have only interaction with mostly business community. Additionally, IRS CSPs have rapid promotions and second best career prospects. It is true bureaucracy. Additionally after getting promoted their BS-19 they can join PAS (DMG) through a FPSC exam. Executive magistracy is not implemented in Sindh (It is implemented in KPK). AC is empowered for Price Controlling, visits to schools, colleges and hospitals and ensuring the presence of staff there. |
