Kindly tell me about the different posts held by IRS officers in different grades
e.g.
at 17 assistant commissioner income tax etc upto grade 21

18 Dpeuty Commissioner Inland Revenue
19 Additional Commissioner Inland Revenue
20 Commissioner Inland Revenue
21 Chief Commissioner Inland Revenue/ Member FBR

I am an ACIR myself, and deal with officers of these ranks on daily basis. as for websites u may visit

can you please share what is the exact take home salary of an IRS officer at the time of beginning of service? and what are other benefits and perks if any?

Grade 17 or 19? there can be 2 ACIRs according to the thread .

[B]ACIR is Assistant Commissioner Income Tax (BPS- 17) where as Inspecting Additional Commissioner (IAC) is {BPS- 19}[/B]
