Current scenario of IRS
 

Hi all

Can anyone please tell me about the current situation of IRS department and details of the working conditions especially with regards to female employees. Also, do they get double basic salary? Could I be stationed at Lahore (as it is where I live)?

I am asking these things (despite the fact that they have been answered before) because I want to know the current situation of this department before filling out my final preference forms.

me too would request the same from seniors/serving IRS officers. as IRS is among my 4 top preferences but few days ago I read a post here .The guy said that he was posted in Karachi . Where he even didn't have his own office. After struggle he got one but there was no furniture/computer etc.He had to buy furniture from is own pocket. He even didn't got pay for three months . If that's true then its alarming situation .
The guy didn't had CSP medal in his profile so I am hoping that he was fake account . Seniors please shed some light

You have access to CSPs' forum on this website, then why don't you ask this question there? There would be many CSPs of IRS group on the mentioned forum.

Plz try to show maturity, and don't misguide ... IRS is mostly considered for the best working environment, but someone says no furniture in office, plz stop this bakwaas
