Default facilities in railways and mlcg; a comparison.

seniors please comment on the facilities that railway offers with those of military lands group. house and servants r there in RCTG as well..

Well dear, as per my knowledge, MLCG has better facilities than Railways. As far as basic facilities are concerned, I believe RTCG officers can get manpower and a reasonable house (however, they require maintenance quite often). Car can be an issue at initial stages, i.e. BS-17 but later on, they manage to get one.

What about those who join railways as Engineers through FPSC general recruitment programs and not CSS?
