I just got allocated to OMG..and im also married..after stp is there a possibility for me to have myvfirst posting in lahore where I live?

yes you can get posted in lahore as rules allow relaxation for females. The easiest way is to get a requisition from a ministry/division which has a regional office in lahore as well such has human rights division. After getting posted in that division, get yourself transferred to the regional office. The second option is to claim this right on the basis of wedlock policy or establishment division's O.M which allows females to get posted in their home town. (You can find this o.m in Estacode)

It is better to go for such posting after gaining 2-3 years of experience in federal secretariat.

Sir, while we are working after the completion of STP, what to do w.r.t. accommodation??? especially for the female officers who are from other provinces. Does the respective ministry provide any such facility like hostel for female officers facing residence issues in the fed.capital?

The government has no such policy or arrangement of providing separate accommodation for female officers. However, there are hostels in islamabad for working women in G-7 area which provide cheap accommodation to female officers.

Salary of OMG officer will be higher than that of DMG if DMG officer is posted at field as asstt. commisioner. DMG officers dont get conveyance allowance. OMG officers get it. a Living example:

At federal Secretariat, OMG officers from 37th CTP get 44 thousands. While DMG officers of the same batch get 40th thousands.. (4 thousands extra for OMG officers for not having car)
But But But..In certain posts, like S.O general and in certain ministries like IT, n CADD etc there are cars for certain S.Os. Here Despite the fact they have car, no conveyance allowances are deducted.

FSP,OMG Audit n accounts, postal, CTG,MLCG, Info, railway, DMG, has same salary..But if DMG or postal group or MLCG officer is posted at field , he/she gets 5 thousands deducted from salaries.

FBR has especial allowance...So has PSP.hence their salary is higher. Finance division has moved a case against this discrepancy in salaries.

But there are OMG officers posted outside secretariat , they get double salary , more than a PSP and IRS/Custom officer.( refer to my Thread on" Deputations of OMG officers")

Gdp fund deduction is the reason of one thousand less salary during stp

honorable members,FPSC annouced post of section offier in national assembly and I want to apply for that but the problem is that i did not know where & how to prepare the topics mentioned in the salybus and i have not any idea about these topics . . so my request is that kindly help me in this regard and suggest me some books/studiying materials or any thing which cover/contain these topics and that can help me in prepartion for this exam.
