Honourable CSPs and seniors, please make a comprehensive comparison between Pakistan Customs service and OMG... In terms of
1) Salary
2) Promotion
3) Benefits like official vehicle, accomodation etc.
4) Power

U will have to wait for almost 12 years to get the above mentioned priviliges.usualy promotion to 19 take 12 years.in 17 and 18 u wil have to work as section officer and estimated 70 to 80 section officers work in a ministery.

Now a days OMG is a very good cadre as it offers very rapid promotions as one can jump to scale 18 in just two years.
Remember that the place where OMG Officers surve their duties is the mother of buearucracy. In OMG one will have strong connections with other CSP's and politicians.

for 38th comm it was of 4 months at STI Islamabad but for 39th comm batch it consists of 6 months.

It was of 29 weeks ie 7 months plus a single week
