Default Query regarding PAS/DMG.
Respected CSP and senior members I have a question whether a person who is selected in PAS/DMG has any choice to work in office instead of field duty if yes what kind of work is he/she assigned?I shall wait for your kind response.

Initially, you have to spend mandatory 2 years in field. Afterwards you can be posted in Secretariat, Attached Departments, Autonomous bodies etc and remain in office set up for the rest of your career. Cheers!

@ Incredible 1.
Field service like AC, DC etc is the real charm of PAS. If one doesnt want field, he/she will be posted as an SO in provincial/Fedreal secretariat. In secretariat, PAS and OMG officers do same work. After alot of hardwork and After getting PAS, if a person becomes a Section Officer, its better to choose another top 4-5 group like IRS, Customs, FSP or MLCG.
