is it correct that the first female candidate
on merit in dmg gets posted at islamabad??

or is there a choice gvn?

there is a choice abt later postings
but i wana knw abt the first one

Assalam-o-alaikum!

There is no such hard and fast rule. The male/female, whosoever, is at the top of the merit list of DMG Officers gets his/her first choice w.r.t initial posting. It all depends on :
1. Merit
2. Choices given by the candidate in the choice form.
3. Availability of vacancy.

But the following conditions do apply in ANY CASE:
1. For males, the initial posting cannot be in one's own province (as per one's domicile).
2. Females are NOW allowed to even get posted in their home towns.

Yes... The sub divisional magistrate of our district i.e. Malakand had a car while he was on his UT
