Default Do we have to serve in our province in DMG and PSP?

hi
i wanted to ask a question from the learned members. i heard from somebody (in case of police and DMG) u have to serve in the province from which your domicile originates and you are only allowed to serve 3 years outside your respective province. is it true? could the seniors enlighten me on this subject? thanks...

No. It is not true.

One can serve in any province after initial posting of two years in other province. It depends on one's own choice too.

Omer has guided you well. its just that you have to spend your initial time outside your domiciled province and then you can be posted anywhere.
