Prooncial Autonomy

Respected Members!

In the light of 18th amendment, in which provincial autonomy is granted, what will be the future of different govt departments which fall under provincial control but the officers are recruited through css?
Please explain your answer keeping in mind the position of DMG group?
As PMS is introduce in different provinces?

Yes, it is true that provincial autonomy has enhanced the power and prestige of the provincial services but the formation of PMS has nothing to do with the autonomy given to provinces in 18th Amendment. PMS was formed way back in 2004. As far as CSP/DMG is concerned, it is still the lion group because DMG is not a federal service, it is an All Pakistan Service common between both the provinces and the federation. DMGs are as much as the servants of the provinces as PMS ones.
In short, DMG is still the king both at the federal and the provincial levels.
