i have 2 questions

1. is this law implemented till now????


2. my friend told me its only is federal i-e ISLAMABAD ....................so a grade 20 officer serving in balochistan will not be under this law??????

Transport Monetization was implemented with effect from January 1st, 2012. All the officers of Federal Government who were in BS-20 to BS-22, having a Government transport were required to give up their vehicles for a Transport Monetization in lieu of Conveyance Allowance as admissible to officers of BS-17 to BS-19. The Officers were given priority if they wanted to buy the government cars for themselves. All the officers, that I know of, bought the cars at a devalued rate as prescribed by the Cabinet Division.

I dont know about the rest of the country, but this policy is being implemented in its true letter and spirit in Islamabad, Federal Secretariat. In my humble opinion, this policy would not be feasible for the DMG or PSP officers.
