Post PAS name should be changed as previous DMG

PM Yousaf Raza Gillani changed the DMG name as PAS, as Indain Administrative Service (IAS). The name should be changed as old DMG because District Management Group has an interaction in this name.

Cool PAS, logic behind

DMG reflects the management of a district only, while PAS on the other hand, is the administration of the whole country (which we do indeed)
so PAS is far better to represent us at any domestic or international forum.
hope it makes sense to you gentlemen

I also like PAS , because CSPs who are serving in this group are not limited to a district level. these are the people who serve as a chief secretary(OF PROVINCE) or on any other national level seat, so the name should be as terse (broadest)as the group is!

Post Sir Nasr Khan

First my statement based upon my personal choice,
Secondly, you used word (DMG) on your profile instead of PAS. Every DMG officer posted in Pakistan in specific Distinct except Grade-21,22 posting like Chief Secretary. All officers serve in District level. Name DMG retained from many previous years and in PPP Govt, it changed (copied) from Indian (IAS). I hope you will understand my point Sir.
